Contacted in 2020, Master Distiller, Arlon “AJ” Casey Jones he never dreamed he would be selected as one of only 70 Kentuckians to be included in The Common Wealth of Kentucky art project.
The Common Wealth project is the culmination of a year-long collaboration between artist Kelly Brewer, writer and digital storyteller Beth Pride, and advocate Jill Johnson. The trio traveled the bluegrass creating portraits and interviews of an intimate group of individuals the artists felt embody the spirit of Kentucky.
This entire inspirational art project is presented in a beautiful 11x11 full color hardbound book that captures the experience with portraits, Kentucky life scenes, longer narrative sections, and QR links that connect the reader in a unique way to the people who represent the Common Wealth of Kentucky.

Join us at Casey Jones Distillery on Saturday, October 8th for a chance to meet the brilliant artists behind this project.
The team will be bringing copies of The Common Wealth book for signing and a portion of the sale of the work will go towards the Jo B. Robertson Charitable Foundation.
As a bonus, Kelly Brewer will be painting something special onsite!
