Announcing Casey Jones Distillery Barrel Cut Single Barrel & Double Barrel

We are excited to announce the release of two new authentic Kentucky Proud craft spirits: Casey Jones Distillery Barrel Cut Single Barrel and Casey Jones Distillery Barrel Cut Double Barrel.

Our new Barrel Cut begins by joining Kentucky grown corn with our family original heritage yeast. Afterwards, we distill each drop to perfection in our unique copper square pot still.

Just like our bourbons, we then aged Barrel Cut for up to three years in the finest charred new oak barrels from Kelvin Cooperage. Time and climate then infuse Barrel Cut with tannins from the oak until it turns a rich, dark golden caramel hue. The end result is a full bodied and buttery smooth expression that tastes of sweet corn, sweet tobacco, and just a hint of bourbon.

To take the spirit even further, Master Distiller Arlon "AJ" Casey Jones selects and harvests the very best matured Barrel Cut barrels and then continues aging in spent Casey Jones Distillery Kentucky Straight Bourbon barrels. This additional barreling paired with an extra year of aging creates Casey Jones Distillery Barrel Cut Double Barrel. The expression takes on an entirely distinct and captivating character offering just a hint of corn and sweet tobacco that quickly builds to a full bourbon body with an intriguing and subtle slight rye finish.
