Tour Guide

 
 

Tour Guides/Guest Service will primarily be responsible for the execution of customer service as a member of the Casey Jones Distillery service team.

POST DATE: Ongoing

DEPARTMENT: Guest Experience

SCHEDULE: Full Time, Some Weekends

SUPERVISES: None

REPORTS TO: Shift Lead

PAY STRUCTURE: Hourly

RATE: $13 / Hour Plus Tips

 
 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to follow set processes and instruction with an attention to detail

  • Ability to provide excellent customer interaction in a retail and service environment

  • Strong oral presentation skills and engaging presence

  • Ability to handle cash and operate POS equipment

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as a team

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to be insured as a driver

  • Reliable transportation to/from the facility

  • Previous service, retail, and/or sales experience preferred

  • Previous distillery or brewery experience bonus


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Welcome, engage, and direct guests as they arrive at the distillery

  • Lead tours of the facility and present the distillery experience and history to guests

  • Serve guests and present products in spirits tastings

  • Maintain an active knowledge of distillery products and services

  • Inspire and encourage sales of distillery products and services

  • Report customer complaints to shift lead

  • Maintain displays with product stock and assist with inventory management

  • Simple bar duties using established recipes

  • Maintain retail, tour, bar, storage, restroom, and event spaces

  • Assist production team in bottling runs (labeling, corking, sealing, and boxing)

  • Other related responsibilities as needed
