Phase 2 Begins as we Break Ground on Our 1st Ever Rickhouse

And So it Begins

With shovels in hand and smiles abound, we have started construction on our first barrel aging rickhouse as we begin the second phase of our recently announced $2M expansion.

If It Ain’t Broke

The new rickhouse is slated to be completed in Q4. At two stories high and spanning approximately 7000 sq. ft. the building will house 3000 barrels of award winning Kentucky Bourbon and Barrel Cuts for aging. The rickhouse will utilize a pole barn design and we have opted for traditional style ricks with the old school style side-bunged barrels. When it comes to aging spirits, we believe in the way things were done.

The Belle of the Ball

The new facility will be situated right off the main drive into the distillery just to the right on the crest of our front field. It will be highly visible from Witty Lane as a new visual centerpiece for the distillery. Upon completion in 2023, we will begin offering all new tours that include visits to the rickhouse and, of course, barrel tasting our spirits!
